We work in a step by step manner, taking time to loosen the body with different jattis before moving into more physical work. Every class explores different Kriyas (movement with the breath), Asanas (static physical postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation techniques.
These traditional Hatha Yoga classes focus on balancing the energy within us, ridding ourselves of the negative and grounding the body. Creating a wonderful awareness of the 'Self'.
Everyone and every body can 'do' Yoga. Start your journey today and discover a happier, stronger you!

This class is suitable for all.
Continuing to introduce practices from the Gitananda tradition in a step by step way. Embracing everything that Yoga has to offer, including the opportunity to laugh and let go. "Lighten up otherwise you will tighten up!"
YOGA WORKSHOPS
Monthly Pranayama and Relaxation

An opportunity to spend more time focusing on the breath. Enhancing your awareness of Prana. These practices enable us to strengthen our practices towards Pratyahara. A withdrawal from the senses, not sense withdrawal! Pratyahara gives us the skill to transcend the bondage of the mind controlling us, liberation as we learn to control our mind! One day we might sit in meditation but for now let's work toward it. Different relaxation techniques will be shared from the Gitananda Parampara. What a wonderful way to pause in the middle of the month and recharge.
ONE TO ONE
Please contact me to discuss your options.
I will be able to take on more one to one students in April, but please do get in touch if you would like to know more.
Sometimes we want something more personal.
One to one sessions provide you with a personalised Yoga plan, daily practices and importantly that individual time.
One to one Yoga sessions are ideal for those wanting to focus on something specific or for those that cannot attend a large group class.
YOGA RETREATS

What is more important than your health, happiness, and well-being?
You might say someone else's, but if yours isn't tip top, how can you help someone else?
Book yourself onto this deeply nourishing Yoga Retreat Day.
Throughout the three sessions we will explore the Surya Namaskar, twists, and plenty of other physical asanas and kriyas. You will experience sound practices (Nada Yoga) traditional to the Gitananda teachings. Pranayama practices to restore balance to the left and right side of the mind and body. Some gentle self massage to help drain the lymph nodes and deep relaxation!
To keep costs as low as possible we all bring a small vegan dish to share and lunch is often the highlight of the day! But you don't need to go to extremes - keep it simple. Buy it, make it or get a friend to do it! Don't worry there will be plenty of tasty things to keep you going for the whole day!
There are only 12 spaces available on the day and weather permitting, we will get outside when possible.
